It’s finally here!
When in December has been talked about through many writing diaries. I’ve struggled through writing this wintery, holiday love story between an interior designer set on making an old cabin a home and the grumpy guy she used to have a crush on after he is discharged from the military post completing Call You Mine and managed to finish it on deadline as life was in a wild, joyful time and now… I can’t wait to share it with you.
So, are you ready to see the cover?
Here it is in 3…

This renovation love story is in need of a redesign.
Poppy Owens has always been an eternal optimist, determined to look on the positive side of life no matter how gloomy the circumstances. Her unwavering cheerfulness has been the driving force behind her dream of working at a prestigious interior design firm. However, Poppy's sunny outlook is put to the test when the promotion she had been eagerly anticipating slips through her fingers.
The only way for Poppy to secure the coveted position is to outshine a rival co-worker on a make-or-break assignment: transforming a small cabin on the outskirts of the city into a picture-perfect holiday haven. But upon arriving at the remote location, Poppy is dismayed to find the cabin in a state of disrepair. To make matters worse, the prickly homeowner seems intent on throwing every possible obstacle her way.
Fate has a wicked sense of humor when the irritable cabin owner is none other than Aaron Hayes, Poppy's high school crush who has no idea who she is. Freshly returned from a harrowing military deployment that claimed the life of his friend, Aaron is a mere shell of his former self. Gruff, cynical, and emotionally closed off, he regards Poppy's attitude and homemaking skills with disdain, seemingly determined to undermine her work at every turn.
Poppy never doubted her own talent until coming head-to-head with Aaron, but now she must decide whether maintaining professionalism is worth it in order to pull off a renovation miracle.
It's SO wintery! So romance!
I’m in love.
This is my first real “people cover” as I have been calling it. After having some fantastic illustrated covers, I went back and forth, but decided that doing another cover like Call You Mine or Bewitched by You just wasn’t the choice I wanted to make for this book.
And I am so glad that I did.
Just look at it.
What do you think? Do you love it?
Can’t wait to read? Fantastic!
