There are days when I sit down to write, whether it be at my desk or on the couch or even tucked into my bed (which I know I shouldn’t do even though it feel so good), I can’t help but feel this overwhelming sense of gratitude and thankfulness for the incredible romance community that surrounds me.
As a writer and as a self-publishing author, there are days that I feel so frustrated and determined, but lately, I’ve also been diving deep into how thankful I am to be able to write and be working through this point in my life where I’m writing even through a very changing season (or chapter) of my life.
You, my lovely readers, are the heartbeat of every love story I sit in front of my computer and attempt to write. I always write in my acknowledgements that without readers, my books are just words on a page.
Because it’s true.
It’s because of you that I keep writing, keep creating worlds and characters that I hope will make you laugh, cry, and—most importantly—feel deeply enough to love a story or keep reading more.
In a world that often feels rushed and chaotic, you wonderful romance readers remind me why love stories matter. So, today, I wanted to take a moment to send you a little love letter of my own.
*Clears throat.*
