Whether you're a passionate reader or a writer seeking inspiration, understanding popular romance tropes is a must. I mean, if you love books and have been on social media, you’ve already probably seen tons from bookish videos promoting books on Kindle Unlimited, to graphics sharing “what you can expect” inside the latest romance about to hit the shelves from enemies to lovers, second chance, and so much more.

You probably already have your favorite tropes without realizing!

As much as we can talk about how having these tropes can sometimes keep us in a box as readers and writers, they also open us up to so much enjoyment and expansion within the trope and within the genre.

I mean, I’ve written a few already in my romance novels, and to say I won’t come back to them?

Well, that would just be a lie. Because I can’t help it. I love a good hate to love found family where there’s only one bed.
