Meet The Current… reads, obsessions, and wonderful things going on in life lately. I hope you share your ups, downs, and joys with me too down in the comments.

Because it makes us feel like we are connecting, doesn’t it? Like friends?

Please Note: This edition of The Current somehow never was published approximately 2 weeks ago from today’s date. So… surprise from the past? I made some minor adjustments, otherwise, enjoy this post in it’s original form!

Fall is here and to say that I am very much ready for it is an understatement. I’m excited about the colder weather and the layers I have to wrap myself in to stay warm. I’m happy when I see the leaves turn orange and yellow before falling to the ground where you can step on them with a crunch during your after-dinner walk outside. These past few weeks have been filled with activity and stress (both the good and bad kind) and so fall coming feels like a blanket slowly being tucked over my shoulders telling me that it is going to be ok.

Just stay inside.

Be cozy.

Read a book.

Listen to the rain falling against the windows.

Breathe.

I can’t say that I have been following this kindhearted Fall’s advice, but this has been my current... lately. And it can only go up from here, right?

But, I have a feeling that soon that will change.

Hopefully.

At least my reading of Substack hasn’t been too effected. Lately I’ve read...

i hate gilmore girls… and what your favorite rory gilmore boyfriend says about you
hello. gilmore girls was a show that was recommended to me a multitude of times over the past several years and i put it off reluctantly up until this last year. while the promising aspects of comfort and cozy picturesque autumnal atmospheric aesthetics delivered throughout the course of the series, i was often disappointed and annoyed at how problematic…
